Question: Councillor D. Smith “To ask the Chief Executive if following a question at a full Council meeting this year, if a study on the viability of public swimming pool for Swords has been undertaken?”
Reply: A tender brief is being put together to engage a consultant to undertake a study on the provision of a Multi-Use Recreational facility for Swords and its hinterland area to include existing facilities and proposed requirements in terms of future population growth and the future expansion of the Swords area. This study will also include the viability or otherwise of a public swimming pool for Swords.
